Fall sometimes brings very heavy rain.  Here, Tropical Storm Jeanne (2004) has driven the Mantua Creek out of its banks at Clay Hill, submerging part of the Mantua Creek Trail.  See also the normal appearance of this area.

The remains of Greene's Lake Dam stand as a link to Wenonah's past.  The dam is said to have been destroyed by Hurricane Agnes in 1972.
