It has become one of our new year’s traditions, started back in 2005: to celebrate winter by taking a brisk walk around most of Wenonah’s trail system.
The meeting place is the railroad pedestrian bridge at North East Avenue and East Elm Street next to the school. The full walk (actually about 4 miles) takes around two hours and ends up at the Comey’s Lake Tea House. There are plenty of places to peel off early if that works better for you. Kids and dogs are welcome!
NOTE: our trails mostly have natural surfaces, including some muddy spots and exposed tree roots. Please wear appropriate shoes or boots.
